Mike Lindley's 3400 Turbo 03 Grand Am
This update from:

After much frustration in purchasing a turbo kit for Mike's Grand Am, we decided to create our own turbo kit for Mike's car. We have had many request for a Grand Am turbo kit, so maybe this will turn into a production kit.
You can see where we trimmed out the sheetmetal to accomodate the intercooler tubing.
We decided that to keep the cost of the turbo kit down to where it is affordable, we would use the factory exhaust manifolds. The engine will be able to produce more than enough power through the factory manifolds, and overall reliability will be greatly increased. The factory designed the flow to route one way from the front manifold back to the rear one. The earlier 3100 V6 had a rear manifold that flowed either direction, which is what we used on this 3400.
Yes this Grand Am is getting an intercooler! We are using a rather large one that has the inlet and outlet both on the same end, which will make pipe routing much easier.
We are using all mandrel bent tubing on this turbo kit, allow for much greater flow.
In this picture you can see the routing of the pipes running in and out of the turbo. The K&N air filter is located close to an opening in the grill, to give it cooler air.
