Tom Snitzer's 04 C5 with ATI ProCharger F-1C
This update from:

Stay tuned as we swap the 346 engine for an LS2/402 for Tom's C5. While we are at it, we will also be swapping the D-1SC for an F-1C!
The engine is getting prepared to come back out. We have an LS2 shortblock that we just built for the car, and Tom wants to reuse the Patriot Stage 2 heads on the new engine.
Dustin is swapping out parts from the old 346 here over to the new LS2 engine.
We used a Callies Compstar crankshaft for this new LS2 block, along with Callies Compstar connecting rods, Diamond pistons and Total Seal rings. We are using our Comp blower camshaft, which is a .232/.240 .595/.608 on a 115LSA.
Dustin is now cleaning the second head to install it on the new LS2 shortblock. This 402 cid engine is going to make a lot more torque than the old 346 cid engine did, which is what Tom is after for road course work. The larger F-1C ProCharger won't be working nearly as hard as the D-1SC was, so the inlet coolant temps should be cooler.
We added carbon fiber valve covers and MSD LS2 coils, along with a new GM water pump.
The old shortblock is for sale: $1,000.00 Sold!!
2004 LS1 alum block, stock crank, Callies Compstar rods, Diamond pistons, Total Seal Rings, Lingenfelter GT2-3 camshaft, Comp timing chain set, SLP oil pump, ARP head studs.
We leak tested it and some of the cylinders were at 18%, so there is some ring wear. The engine still made good power when it was removed. You could use it as is or bore out the engine and add new pistons and rings.
Kevin can be seen here getting the engine reinstalled.
We installed a new alternator, water pump and a new thermostat as a precautionary measure, as this car is driven hard on a road course. The ATI ProCharger hoses had a lot of wear on them, so we replaced them as well. We also replaced the LS6 intake manifold with a FAST 90mm intake, along with fuel rails and a 90mm throttle body that has been bored out.
The new ATI ProCharger F-1C is now installed.
In order to route four inch aluminum tubing over the core support, we had to be creative and notch out the bottom of the tubing and weld it back together.
This engine looks altogether different now than the old 346 did!
We are still working in the engine compartment, several items are not bolted down yet.
We ran out of injector with the 60lb fuel injectors, so we're swapping them out for Delphi 95lb injectors along with an AEM driver. The 60lb injectors were at 125% duty cycle!!!!
With a 4.50 blower pulley swap to slow the blower down, we ended up with 15.9 psi of boost, and 804 rwhp with only 17 degrees of timing! The power starts falling off at 6000 rpm, most likely the cylinder heads are affecting the power. With 800 rwhp being the goal, we certainly met it and added a lot more torque to boot!
